NCYC offers many opportunities for education, spiritual growth, and celebration. Take a closer look . . .
NCYC youth and adults actively participated in the thematic park service activities. Most notably over 24,000 lbs of food was collected and distributed to the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Great Job!

A unique element of the NCYC experience, the thematic park is an interactive venue that includes exhibits by colleges, religious orders, ministry organizations, performers, and other vendors as well as opportunities to play games, be of service to others, or listen to some great musical performances. Designed to resemble a baseball park, be sure to visit Halls A-E to check out all that Victory Park has to offer.
Batter Up! How have you been Called to Glory? Is it through your creativity, your sense of service, your discernment of vocation, your gift of music, your gift of leadership, your courage and conviction to learn about your Catholic faith and stand up for our church’s beliefs? If you do not already know, Victory Park just might be the place to discover some answers.
Every ballpark has its MVP’s and so do we. Check out the Bishops Booth and get a chance to get an autographed baseball card of your bishop. Explore your creativity in the Creative Corner through performance art, creative prayer, icons, clay walls, painting, and more. As you leave the infield be sure to spend some time with our All Stars: MaryKnoll, Catholic Relief Services, Climate Change, The Invisible Children, American Red Cross, A Promise to Keep, Peace Learning Center, Wishard Hospital Disability Course, St. Vincent Hospital, and Souper Bowl of Caring. All of these agencies believe in young people and are passionate about helping teens be the best they can be.
Also in the lineup is our service area. Here you can explore your call to glory through learning about the Waters of Life purification program, making pillow case dresses for St. Raphael Parish in Haiti, knitting scarves for teens transitioning out of foster care, or making baby blankets for St. Elizabeth and other agencies that help with teen pregnancy. You can support prison ministry by exploring Cookies to You, help fill bags with the essentials for youth placed in foster care, donate books for literacy, learn all about St. Vincent de Paul and its efforts to serve those in need, and look at ways you can help nurture and protect the environment through your personal daily choices. All inspired from the readings of Matthew 25 about how we are to see Christ in others and for others to see Christ in us.
The outfield is also a great place to be. Come check out the vocations area. Play some corn hole with priests, sisters, and brothers or spend some time chatting with them to learn more about their call to glory and how they and their communities serve Christ. Joe’s Place, our NCYC coffee house, is a great place to listen to a variety of artists as they share their music ministry with everyone at NCYC! Like any great ballpark, we have souvenirs. Check out the Marketplace for the latest in t-shirts, jewelry, and other items to express your faith. Ready to stretch a little, get warmed up before you go back in the game? Then our “Win It in a NCYC Minute” is where you need to be. Look for team building and challenge initiatives from the Archdiocese of Indianapolis CYO camp staff and check out the latest Wii games and Dance Dance Revolution. All guaranteed to keep you moving and get you game ready!
Each parish and school attending the 2011 NCYC is invited to make its own baseball pennant with its parish/school name, mascot, colors, nickname, city/state etc. Please bring your pennant (11” x 17” or smaller) to the Service Area of the thematic park and it will be hung during the conference. Let’s see how many pennants we can make!
Batter up! You’re sure to knock it out of the park.
