Youth Ministry Leaders

As a parish youth ministry or catechetical leader, you are often the first contact a person has with NCYC. Your role includes engaging parish leadership to support youth and adult involvement with NCYC. This might mean asking the parish council or the Knights of Columbus for financial support, encouraging clergy to attend NCYC, and talking to parents or other parish groups who are engaged in ministry with young people. Additionally, you organize your parish or school group, prepare youth and adults participants before the conference, attend to your group and coordinate details at NCYC, and provide opportunities for follow-up after the conference.
