Vocation Director Resources

The National Catholic Youth Conference is a vocation director's dream come true! The presence of hundreds of lay, religious, and clergy, including dozens of bishops, interacting with young people in an atmosphere of faith and fun is a sight to behold and an opportunity not to be missed. From the vocation area in the Thematic Park, to the round table discussions with bishops, to daily celebrations of Eucharist and Reconciliation and a huge Eucharistic Adoration, there are hundreds of opportunities for our church leadership to be faithfully present to and with the young Catholic Church at NCYC.

Clergy and Seminarians

Vocations directors should encourage the clergy from their diocese or religious community to attend NCYC as a witness of the church’s commitment to youth and to provide opportunities for positive interaction between clergy and young people. Additionally, some dioceses have their seminarians attend NCYC to promote vocations and to give their future priests a powerful experience of a national youth event.

NFCYM has web resource pages for discerning vocations with youth. It contains ideas on how to:
